nf HOMES always supports the conservation of nature and ecology. For this summer, we’ll be presenting a guided tour to the Fung Yuen Butterfly Reserve, which is aimed for families who want to learn more about butterflies and nature.
This guided tour will take you to the Fung Yuen Cultural and Ecological Education Centre, the Fung Yuen Butterfly Conservation Area and other surrounding areas. There are more than 200 species of butterflies there, and you will have the opportunity to see rare species such as the Common Birdwing, and the White Dragontail, one of the smallest and rarest butterfly species in Hong Kong.
The tour guide will share information about the butterfly ecology, flora and fauna, Fung Yuen’s culture history and significant features, threats to the conservation of natural ecosystems. There are limited places available for this exciting tour, so book them early!

Note: This tour may be downsized, postponed or cancelled depending on the government’s prevailing anti-epidemic/social distancing restrictions.
- Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes earlier.
- Upon registration, please settle the admission fee according to the payment instructions. You will then receive an email for event enrollment confirmation. No cancellation can be made after payment. The enrollment is non-transferable nor refundable
- If the Observatory issues ‘Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or Above’ or ‘Red or Black Rainstorm Warning’ two hours before the start of the activity, the tour will be cancelled.
- nf HOMES reserves the right to reschedule the event due to uncontrollable events (such as extreme weather conditions).
- In case of any disputes, the decision of nf Homes shall be final and conclusive.
